The methodology for work with children with SEN in pre-school education is divided into theoretical and methodological part. In the theoretical part are introduced basic principles of inclusive education and possibilities of their application in the kindergarten environment.
Furthermore, the specifics of children with various types of special educational needs are presented. The methodological part provides an overview of individual areas of development of children with examples of suitable activities that can be applied in the educational process in kindergarten.
To guide the assessment of the current level of development, assessment schemes are available in the methodology, which are elaborated for each area of development and describe the expected abilities and skills corresponding to the age of the child.
