20.Human Speech - Its understanding and interpretation by the child

Abstract

The chapter deals with the communication skills and interpretation abilities of the child. There are defined terms: preconception, conception and misconception from the perspective of pedagogy and religious education.

It also considers strategies to overcome misconceptions (through socio cognitive conflict, metacognition and divergent cognition).
