The article describes the long-term cooperation of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University and the University of Tampere. It considers both its beginnings focused only on the teaching of the Czech language within Russian studies, and especially on the last decade of development of cooperation, when the programme of Czech language, culture and literature became an integral part of the Tampere University curriculum.
Not only Finnish students from various fields of studies, but also exchange students from many European and non-European countries are interested in the Czech programme. The programme is funded from two sources: the Erasmus + program and the inter-faculty agreement.
