Abstrakt
The article deals with the position of Shir HaShirim (The Song of Songs) in the Jewish liturgical Passo-ver poems. There is an emphasis on the allegorical understanding of the Song of Songs in the Jewish writings and tradition.
The Passover piyyutim mir-ror the allegorical understanding of this biblical book and stress Israel's staying in exile and its longing for the return to the promised land. The article focuses especially on the morning liturgical poems.
