Abstract

A fictive interview written by the author about simultaneous and consecutive interpretation. How and where the training was organised, the use of retour (interpretation into B language) in the Czech Republic and in the European Union; the situation on the market - in the past and nowadays: new technologies, videoconferences, remote interpreting, English as a lingua franca at the international conferences and less widely used languages in the community interpreting.
