The works by five Czech woman artists offer an intergenerational view of the revolt in Czech art against obstructive political and cultural norms, which produced clear and compelling artistic statements in the proces. With this selection of works, the related issues are not exhaustively tackled; a completely sifferent compilation of works and artists as well a different také on the history would be equally imaginable.
SAnd there will be no lack of future opportunities for this, as is shown by the increasing interest in art from Central Europe.
