Abstract

In this article we present some well known concepts of the theory of dynamical systems and the canonical perturbation theory in particular the method of Lie series which enables one to approximatively solve the equations of motion. We then introduce a general relativistic system consisting of a black hole perturbed by a ring-like source located at the infinity on which the Lie series formalism is subsequently applied.
