On the Use of the (Hussite) Tradition for Life or The Third Republic National Revolution in Nietzsche's Shadow

Abstract

The post-February communist activity in the historical field is not to be understood solely as a momentary distortion of the past, but as the way of active treatment of history, as Friedrich Nietzsche put it in his consideration of the benefits and harmfulness of history for life (1874). What is more, it will be clear from the next paragraphs that the post-February policy of history only developed a trend established in the very first moments of freedom in May 1945.
