Abstract
Specialized weapons and the beauty of warfare was crucial for maintaining the structure and hierarchy of the Copper Age/Bronze Age society. During the 3rd Millennium BC the archery symbolism spread together with the Bell Beaker Phenomenon over most of the European continent (Turek 2014 with further references).
To introduce this Copper Age Global Issue I quote part of my story about the life of Surmir, the Beaker warrior, archer and big man.
