Abstract
This article informs about Zlonice, an important town in the music pedagogy, which we can call one of the cradle of the Czech music. For the article were used the regional sources, which are kept in the Antonin Dvorak Memorial.
The goal is to realize the meaning of this place for the national music history. It shows the importance of Zlonice as the music cradle, where many music personalities got their basis of music.
And that proves the importance of this place. The article also discusses the use of regional history of music in pedagogical practice.
