Local Elections in 2018

Abstract

Who won in small villages and large cities? Do men have a better chance to become mayors than women? Which parties formed city councils the most often? You can find the answers to these and many other questions in the book about 2018 local elections in the Czech Republic. Reading the volume delivers two benefits.

Firstly, among other things, it is a traditional testimony about the local elections that will be remembered for the very first decline in the number of candidates compared to previous elections. In the book, you discover detailed information about party shifting, electoral campaigns, election results, or distribution of mandates of mayors.

Secondly, the book brings several ground-breaking analyses. You explore how many more preferential votes doctors get or that ANO governs in municipalities with ODS in a similar frequency as with ČSSD.

Still, the book offers much more to read.
