Abstract
This part of publication deals with the issue of the algorithmic copyright enforcement in the field of musical works in light of Copyright Directive 2019/790. It focuses on the question whether the transposition of Article 17 of the Directive introduces the obligation of implementation of the automated content recognition systems, whether such recognition of musical works can in any way restrict the exercise of the freedom of expression and whether it is proportionate to demand the implementation of the music recognition algorithms.
