The e-publication presents pronunciation teaching from both theoretical and practical points of view. The first chapter focuses on the historical development of pronunciation teaching.

The second chapter scrutinizes the most significant factors contributing to the L2 phonology acquisition. Lastly and most importantly, the third chapter is didactically oriented and offers video clips of real pronunciation classes aimed at teaching English word stress in a variety of Czech schools.
