Abstract
The author of the article, based on his participation in an ERASMUS+ shadowing project at the Kukučínova Gymnázium in Poprad presents his findings on how the maturita exam in English is organized in Slovakia. In the final section he compares it with our current maturita exam, stating the strengths ans weaknesses of both exams.
