Abstract

The subject of this work are archaeological attestations of facilities in which grain is thought to have been stored and their representations. The study aims to answer the following questions: What kind of grain storage facilities are found in the analyzed period, and what are their basic characteristics? Can any changes in the form and/or location of the granaries be detected? What kind of storage facilities was represented in models and in paintings? What is the relation between storage structures and their representations?
