Abstract

The paper presents the key activity 4 Mentoring in Community of practice in the project Improving quality in the education of pupils and the development of key competences, educational areas and literacies. The project focused on improving the professional competences of primary and secondary school teachers, through their engagement in action research.

This was another activity of the project which aimed to prepare teachers for their mentor role of students in teaching education programmes involved in action research. Activity is presented fi rst in general, then it is described more closely within the discourse of one of the educational module groups Social and Civic competences.

In the conclusion, the results of the evaluation survey, which was realized with coordinators of all educational module groups, are summarized.
