Abstract
The paper dealt with the possibility of self-presentation of an author in an authobiographical text, esp. with political and (homo)sexual aspects of the self-presentation. It focused on the memoir by Ladislav Fuks Moje zrcadlo (My mirror, 1995) and demonstrated that the "failure" of this work has to to do with the impossibility of the articulation of queer identity as well as political themes.
The memoir thus seems to be an interesting and in many ways symptomatic text of the "transformation" period.
