Long track deserted countryside or "Do we need middle segment of management?"

Abstract

The article is a reflection on the possibility of introducing a middle article management in the Czech education system. It analyzes the current settings of the education system management, especially with regard to the position of school heads.

It looks at the options for what such a middle management element might look like and what competencies it might have, considering the optimal balance between centralization of the education system and school autonomy.
