Abstract
A WAC session is a good way to promote a particular topic or to investigate a large question to which your own work makes a contribution. It is a way of establishing and maintaining an international network and a way of promoting yourself and your work to the international archaeological community.
Indeed, such sessions are the mechanism by which the community of which we are all a part is created and maintained.
