18.Truth, half-truth and lie in communication

Publication at Hussite Theological Faculty |
2019

Abstract

The issue of truth, half-truth and lie is related to the ontological determination of man in the sense of man as being in faith in God in Christ and also as being without faith in God. In other parts, the author professionally explains the concept and socio-theological and communication aspects of truth, half-truth and lie, the reasons for their spread and the negative consequences of their use in communication.

The final part focuses on more extensive theological, ethical and philosophical interpretations of truth, its positive significance for human coexistence. The above conclusions are based on ethical publications of important theologians and philosophers: G.

Fritzsch, D. Bonhoeffer, W.

Trillhaas, T. Hobbes and others.
