Abstract
A valuable set of protocols on the gradual restoration of the borders of the Plasy monastery estate from 1715-1750 has been preserved in the National Archive in the collection "Archives of abolished monasteries". This study examines the possibilities of interpreting this source and analyzes the information contained therein.
They concern the legal aspects of the demarcation process and its legal insurance, the activities of patrimonial administration involved in this process, but also the specific course of patrol and border renewal, the rituals associated with it, border stones and other border signs.
