Abstract
The book "Jiří Bielecki 1929-2000" maps the life and work of the Moravian painter, graphic artist and artist of objects, placing him in a broader Czech and international context. The publication introduces works which, though produced in seclusion, away from the main art centres in the Havířov region, arrived at progressive and original approaches manifesting interesting parallels with international art, especially the work and artistic language of Otto Piene, member of the German Zero group
