Abstract
A symmetric derivative of Tröger's base with cyanine substitution having cyanine substitution on b and f parts of the (hetero) aryl residue of the 1,5-methano-1,5-diazocin ring, in enantiomeric or racemic forms. These systems can be used to determine polysaccharide tumour markers and can find use in the recognition and diagnosis of tumour diseases.
