Václav Havel, Russia and Eastern Europe after the fall of the Soviet Union

Abstract

The study deals with the development of approaches of the Czechoslovak (Czech) presideent Václav Havel towards the Soviet Union (Russia) in the period 1989 and 1995. The article is based on analysis of Havel's texts, speeches, interviews and other materials and focuses primarily on Havel's considerations about the role of Soviet Union (Russia) v transformin world.
