The monograph has three parts, in which it presents the concept of teacher (professional) andragogy, which has not yet been scientifically elaborated. In a systemic concept, it includes and explains the components that form the foundations of the science (the teaching profession, the professionalization of teaching, professional identity, integrity, status, autonomy and ethics, professional learning and strategies, career paths, careers and models of support in the conditions of organizations - schools, professional development and its support through education and andragogical counselling).
The aim is to provide suggestions for deeper theoretical reflection, but especially praxeological themes in the context of efforts to professionalize teaching and build modern systems of support for its development.
