The article deals with hitherto unknown epithalamion by Šimon Lomnický z Budče (1552-1623) from 1620, preserved in a unique copy at the library of the castle of Křivoklát (Pürglitz; shelf-mark XLIV f 12, adl. 55). It was composed in praise of the wealthy Prague citizen Elias Behem z Bavenbergku and his bride Kateřina Vovsová.
Unlike the other preserved epithalamia written by Lomnický, this print is equipped with white mensural notation and it uses a tune already known from Lomnický's cantional from 1580.
