Abstract
Optical and spectroelectrochemical study of protoporphyrin IX and hematoporphyrin in non-aqueous media is presented. Optical spectra of these porphyrins in various redox states in dimethylformamide were studied.
Several aspects of spectroelectrochemical experiment and consequences for practical applications of selected porphyrins are discussed.
