Abstract

Contacts between Czech lands and the lands inhabited by ethnic Romaniens from the middle ages to the 19-th century, after that they have been transformed into relations between the modern nations - the Czechs and the Romaniens. In the interwar periods Czech-Romanien relations grew into the new military and political alliance between Czechoslovac Republic, Romanien Kingdom and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croates and Slovenes (Yugoslavia) known as the Little Entente.

Close partnerships between Czechoslovakia and Romania were renewed after World War Second. Both countries were integrated into the Soviet zone of influence.
