The concept of business secrets with an emphasis on the definition element of securing its confidentiality

Abstrakt
Business secrets is a legal institute which legal protection derives directly from the law from the moment of fulfilling all the defining elements specified therein and ceases to exist when any of them is removed. The paper will focus on the definition of the concept of business secrets, while the main attention will be given to the legally required obligation of the business secrets holders - in our case a commercial company - to ensure its secrecy for the purposes of the entitlement to its legal protection.
The aim of the paper is to discuss in more detail how it is possible to preserve business secrets confidentiality within a company, how to protect it in the course of cooperation with business partners and from the public in general.
