This book is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the legally binding Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Its authors, teachers and postgraduate students of Law Faculty of Charles University, evaluate its effects on both European level and the milieu of the member states.
Focus is put on practice of its application as well as on its use in legislation process of the EU and its member states. The Charter is examined in the context of Cyberspace or gender issues, which presents new challenges in the field of protection of fundamental rights.
