Abstract

The subchapter contains an analysis of the general provisions of the Civil Code concerning dispositions in case of death. Attention is paid to the correlation between dispositions in case of death on the one hand and the institutes of forced share and the forced heir on the other hand.

Further, the rules for situations where a decedent disposes mortis causa at the period when he was in the care of a facility which provides health care or social services, or when he otherwise received its services, are explained.
