Abstract
The chapter deals with the recognition and enforcement of arbitration awards. In this context, it is necessary to distinguish whether it is an arbitration award issued in the Czech Republic or abroad.
Concerning the enforcement of the domestic arbitration award, the same procedure as the enforcement of the court's decision is followed. As regards the performance of an arbitration award issued abroad, its recognition is not pronounced by a special decision and its enforcement is ordered by a decision of the (Czech) court, which must be justified.
