Development of electrochemical immunosensors towards antibody detection consists of several steps. Specific attention was paid to exclude the non-specific electrochemical signal from silver nanoparticles at different modification steps.

A tick-borne encephalitis virus antigen was attached to glutaraldehyde on a glassy carbon electrode modified with gold nanoparticles and cysteamine. Cyclic voltammetric studies demonstrate the electrochemical situation on the electrode surface by electron transfer of FeII/III as a probe.

Detection of the SNPs was performed by anodic stripping voltammetry of Ag+ at the glassy carbon electrode.
