"Thy Will Be Done on Earth, as it is in Heaven": a View of the Biblical Exegesis

Publication at Catholic Theological Faculty |
2018

Abstract

The meaning of God's will in the Bible represents, foremost, God's plan of salvation (the soteriological aspect), united inseparably with an ethical aspect (the human response). The line of the Lord's prayer shows the desire that God's plan might be fulfilled, including the specific way of the Commandments (the Old Testament) and the Gospel (the New Testament).
