Abstract
The Lord's Prayer is anchored in Jewish piousness. However, the introductory call "Father" and the context of the New Testament lead us to a deeper understanding.
In the real sense, it is a prayer of the disciples, who accept Christ. It is possible to call "Abba, Father" only through the Son (and in his Spirit).
In the context of the New Testament, the Lord's prayer is a Trinitarian Prayer.
