Is the arterial enhancement fraction (AEF) a suitable biomarker for the detection of residual or recurrent hepatic tumours after locoregional therapy?

Abstract

In our study we tried to assess whether the use of AEF during evaluation of contrastenhanced computed tomography (CECT) improves the assessment of viable tumour tissue in liver tumours in differently experienced investigators.
