Personal papers in the Archive of Charles University in Prague: collecting - organizing - cracoviana

Abstract
The article shows the situation in the collecting of personal papers in the Institute of the History of Charles University and Archive of Charles University in the frames of Czech university and scientific archives. The text includes also description of the method used for organizing of personal papers as well as information on the cooperation with other university institutes, which helps to raise the number of personal papers concerning selected sciences and humanities (medicine, astronomy, archaeology).
The article focuses also on archival material concerning Cracow scientific milieu (cracoviana) to show the possibilites of research on individual topic.
