Non-administrational documentation in Czech specialized archives and the example of the Archive of Charles University

Abstract
The article is focused on the non-administrational documentation in Czech specialized archives. It presents possible definition of such kind of archival material and its place in the funds of Czech archives.
Special attention is payed to the Institute of Charles University and Archive of Charles University and its collections of non-administrational documentation. They include old prints of (not only) university provenance, graphics, medals and exceptionally also tree-dimensional objects.
The collection "Jan Palach" is presented in the end as an example of specific archival fund which includes non-typical archival material.
