Abstract

We present a case of a 100-year-old polymorbid patient with signs of bowel obstruction. After failure of conservative therapy computed tomography was performed, which revealed the course of the obstruction to be a gallstone in the terminal ileum.

The gallstone was removed surgically without complications and the patient recovered well and had an uneventful postoperative course.
