Abstract
At the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the feminist cultural journal Aspekt, the author reflects on the state of the art and shifts in the gender culture in the Czech Republic. Definition of the concept "gender culture" is provided.
Furthermore, author identifies the causes of post-1989 antifeminism and thoroughly reflects on the situation in women's organizations and institutionalized feminism. Moreover, she identifies popular feminism as well as diffused feminism as important contributors to the contemporary Czech gender culture.
