Abstract

The present report summarizes the findings concerning the possible misuse of unmanned technology in terms of the typology of possible attacks and attackers. In the context of risk analysis, it presents several scenarios and relevant factors that need to be taken into account when assessing risk.

In addition to standard factors, it also introduces the categories of intentionality and professionalism of the attacks. Given the proliferation and availability of unmanned aerial technology, these factors appear to be significant.

The second part of the report presents a technological foresight focusing on current technological solutions in the field of detection and protection against the misuse of drones.
