Abstract
Due to 900 thousand anesthesia administered in our country during one year make up the anesthesia of children, that is, patients under 18 years of age, 10 percent. In the coming years, you can take advantage of the possibility of caring for pediatric patients in a specialized center, also because you have more experience in anesthesia for very limited children.
A team of authors, mostly anesthesiologists from leading Czech and Moravian workplaces, who work with the care of pediatric patients, is preparing a book, which aims to find a clear summary of issues related to pediatric anesthesia. The publication is possible only to anesthesiologists, but it is also possible to list your students and non-medical medical staff.
The general parts of the book will summarize the physiological and pharmacological differences of childhood in relation to anesthesia, propaedeutic procedures, including peripheral and central blockades, and equipment for successful anesthesia. The special part will include unit processing of anesthesia procedures for the fields of pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology and many others.
The special part will include clear elements of complications. The publication will be supplemented by rich pictorial documentation, tables and algorithms, an index and a number of photo documentation and illustrations.
Respecting personal data, the book will be written with regard to the personal needs of domestic health professionals.
