Abstract
This study follows a framework transformation of a public opinion and ideological prefrences of the Serbian society towards the national question during the period 1966-1989. The main focus is given to process of a intensive erosion of Titoism as a set of basic postulates of a Yugoslav communist regime as well as a parallel growth of patriotism and nationalism.
