The skills of Czech students in the PISA survey are mediocre. The usage of technical expressions and graphical elements in the text are expected to decrease its understanding.
The research aims to describe working strategies of students for reading a text with the use of an eye tracking method. Eye tracking is a method for tracing which parts of the text are easily understandable and which pose trouble.
In the preliminary research, the possible links are estimated between students' strategies and their method of learning.
