High School Headteachers Would Like to Be Pedagogical Leaders, They Are More Like School Managers. They Don't Want Some Competencies

Abstract
The article summarizes basic findings from the survey which it was carried out among high school headteachers in South-Moravian Region and Karlovy Vary Region. The headteachers are mostly considered themeselves pedagogical leaders more like managers.
They require a support with the school administration and they are willing to give up some areas of administration matters completely. Vice versa the minority of headteachers require a support in the field of pedagogical matters.
