Abstract
The conference was oriented to discuss the educational changes generally, but the main emphasis was placed upon the university education including the comparison of trends and changes in university education in Europe and in participating states. Russian university were strongly represented in the conference.
Main themes were: the reform of university education, the experience with the Bologna-process, the significance of standards, the evaluation of quality and the importance of values and humanities.
