The conative dimension of environmental literacy is represented by responsibility environmental behavior (REB). A quantitative questionnaire was used at the behavior testing of Slovak pupils at ISCED level 2.
Studied sample consisted of pupils from 13 Slovak schools (N = 958). Data were collected in spring 2019.
Statistical methods were used for data analysis, e.g. Two Sample t-test, ANOVA, correlations.
The reliability reached α = 0.80. A statistically significant relationship to the conative dimension was identified for all variables.
The environmental profiling of schools did not prove essential for REB. In the case of gender, girls reached higher values.
The grade showed negative relationship towards the conative dimension. Among leisure activities, there was a significant positive connection between the conative dimension and outdoor activities, while a negative relationship was recorded in ICT.
Leisure activities, gender and age can be considered as relevant determinants REB.
