Cyberspace, cyberculture and the digital divide

Abstract

The article deals with cyberspace and cyberculture in connection with the digital divide. After defining the basic concepts, the concept of the digital divide is applied to the specific example of Papua New Guinea, where the phenomenon is observed at three levels - global, state and local.

The conclusion discusses the use of the term cyberculture in the singular instead of the plural.
