Abstract

Ascendant aortic aneurysm has an asymptomatic clinical course and manifests itself with various, often fatal, complications. Due to more accessible imaging methods, the finding of gigantic aneurysm is rare nowadays.

We present a case of a patient in whom an acute myocardial infarction revealed the presence of a giant aneurysm of the ascending aorta.
