Abstract
Meanwhile it is apparent that the problems with alcohol abuse, cigarette smoking and even illegal substance use among Czech teenagers are declining, there is a new alarming trend to focus on - an increasing number of excessive internet users. This paper presents the results of the first survey on internet use among Czech teenagers under the ESPAD study and it shows a high penetration of internet use in Czech teenagers.
It focuses on social networks and online gaming and potential factors that influence these online activities.
